The original bath in this master bedroom suite was small and dark with six and a half square feet of shower space. Our clients wanted to take advantage of a spectacular view and have a roomy shower. They wanted separate vanity areas with plenty of storage. Also desired was a casual, relaxed yet elegant atmosphere with a touch of Oriental.

The remodel encompassed a second bath, allowing space for the desired changes and takes full advantage of the wonderful mountain and river view. The large shower, with plant area, overlooks the pool, giving the bather a sense of outdoors.

Angling the vanity area provided space to include an entertainment center in the large, open plan. The private water closet area includes a small television and phone, providing the optimum in relaxation.

The use of large mirrors serves to enhance the feeling of openness and lightness. The beautiful combination of colors and materials completed the total effect desired by the clients.

Special design features: Entertainment center with pull-out slotted movie storage for VCR; appliance garages for coffee etc.; pull-out trash below sinks; makeup tray in vanity.

Products used: Wood-mode "Newport" maple cabinetry in oyster white with heirloom finish; Conan and tile shower surround; Kohler "Rosario" toilet in white; Corian basins in cameo white with evergreen accent; Grohe brass shower faucet; Conan countertop sierra sunset with evergreen accent; DuPont carpet in Camelot sandrift; Jasba tile flooring in sand and blue violet; Milgard windows; Lincandescent task lighting; Luwa lav faucets in whitewith brass; Kohler brass accessories.
