The clients are, professional people who enjoy their home, love to cook and often entertain. A new kitchen that reflected the architecture of their turn-of-the-century Arts and Crafts-style home was desired.

The transformation included borrowing space from a former porch area and powder room. The final results provided the clients with the perfect kitchen for their needs—a space that is comfortable when entertaining, as well as everyday enjoyment.

Special Design Features: Custom designed hood with brass and chrome tile liners; wet bar area; ceramic tile to reflect period style and color balance; small TV that can be viewed during meal preparation or from eating bar.

Products used: Wood-Mode, Brandywine, cabinetry, Eggshell finish; Sub-Zero refrigerator; Thermador range; Bosch dishwasher; ISE disposal; DuPont Corian countertop in Aurora and sink in Bone; Luwa chrome/brass faucet; custom oak floonng.
