This hand-carved cherry hood is the point of focus in this kitchen. Its beauty complements dark walnut floors.  Cabinetry in the bright eating nook displays the homeowner's special treasures. The side-by-side refrigerator and freezer blend into the cabinetry while carved onlays draw attention. A checkered maple and walnut cabinet detail strip serves to unify the room's light and dark element.
